My dad grew up in Queens, raised by his grandparents, who had season tickets to the Mets. Fun fact—if you didn’t know, I’m named after my great-grandfather, William Ryall, which is why William Ryall is my first and middle name.

Naturally, my dad became a big Mets fan, and I’ve always had a soft spot for the team. When I moved back to NYC, my dad and I kept the tradition going for years with a mini-season ticket plan—about 10 games each season.

So when Charlie was born, he really had no choice but to be a Mets fan. Luckily for him, a billionaire bought the team, and OMG now we're contenders!!!

Post-Game Plan:
After the game, we’ll rendezvous in Riverside Park for drinks at Ellington in the Park (around 105th St) and pizza from Mama’s Too—a spot that both The New York Times & Eater rank among the top five pizza joints in NYC.

Then, to cap off the night, we’re heading to the Upright Citizens Brigade (age restriction of 15+- but we will be bringing Charlie) for one of the top five improv venues in the world.
